Exploring the quotations about Katherine/Katherina/Kate and an analysis of cast pictures in more detail led to an interesting discussion about the potential plot. It was interesting that in discussion of Katherine’s unwillingness to marry, we came across some stereotypical views of women. There was also some interest and confusion about the social context of the time such as the types of relationships which existed. This would be a great area to investigate more in your research project.
